 On my palette, I've mixed mostly red shades, complemented by white, black, orange, pink, magenta and lavender. The colors seem to interact vibrantly with each other against the red background; they collide, are vibrant... 
Red is a special color with great expressiveness. It's one of the three primary colors and thus essential in the world of color. Furthermore, the intense red carries a global and historical fascination. 
In the painting "Big Red Glow XXXL 1," I used red to represent positive vitality in the sense of passion, warmth, energy, and vitality. Red can attract attention, motivate, challenge, or mobilize; dark reds also represent exclusivity, warmth, romance, and elegance.
